This Is Why I Dive At Night

For those brief moments when there is nothing else but diving, completely at peace, now in nothingness.

And then I remember I have to take pictures! So snapping out of it, I concentrate of following Ahmed, Shurt and Kris on a particularly chilly night dive. Despite wearing the hood donated most heroically by Ahmed, I was still deathly cold. Ahmed was "f**king freezing", apparently.

Not that the cold spoiled the fun much as we spent nearly an hour in the water. Ahmed is a top guide, so we got to see the reef at its night-time best. Nothing big, but plenty of other life and a couple of real treats!
